What to wear to [A Hip Hop Concert]

Yesterday, my homegirl texted me during work to let me know that she bought me a ticket to a hip hop concert that night. So, I had to pull an outfit together in an hour and if you are like me, that is somewhat of a world record.

The Venue:
It was at a small club in the city, the smallest venue I've been to actually. It's located in young neighborhood next to lots of small bars and cute restaurants (this also means, there's absolutely no parking). The venue itself was a square, the stage infront, the bar in the back and other than the V.I.P seating along the sides, it's pretty much a standing venue. *It also has coat check for $2/item, so crucial on a rainy day. Overall it's a cozy spot with a very chill vibe.

The Weather:
It had been raining all day so the streets were wet and the wind was colder than the normal chill from the Bay.

The Outfit:
Concerts are certainly one of the places you can really wear fun pieces; the pieces that you love but have a hard time figuring out where to wear it to. You also want to make sure that you're comfortable because you're going to be there for a while, dancing and sweating your butt off with the rest of the crowd.
